Saga Dawa festival is observed to commemorate the three different stages of the life of Gautam the Buddha namely birth, death and enlightenment. Hindus who walk around the 32-mile circumference of Mount Kailash use the term parikrama. They believe that lord Shiva, one of their three main gods, resides atop what they call Mount Meru . Tibetans refer to the clockwise circumambulation as a kora. Both words mean the same thing pilgrimage. It is believed that doing a walk around the mountain can take away your all sins.

Mansarovar Lake

Man Sarovar is a holy lake which lies on the way to Mount Kailash . It seems very beautiful on the high altitude of Tibet . You can either encircle it or take a bath when you reach there.

Annapurna Panorama Trekking

Annapurna Panorama Trek is moderate and can be done throughout the year  including the summer. The normal hour of walking is 4 to 6 hours each day and the possible highest point is 3200m. Therefore, there is no risk of any altitude sickness.

The view from Ghorepani and Poon Hill above is one of the best on the Annapurna panorama Trek. The Himalayan chain between Dhauligiri and Manaslu can be clearly seen on a fine day. Many people ascend Poon Hill in the morning before to get a good view of the mountains. However the view of Machhupuchhare is disappointing in the morning as the sun rises behind it.
