Tibet is a land where you find the world famous Mongolian Buddhist culture and heritage. It is also called the roof of the world for it situates on the highest land of the world. You find the peoples’ settlement in the Himalayan region around the snowy mountains. These people have their own culture and identity. This culture is quite fascinating for Anthropologist particularly. This is the autonomous part of China. This is also a homeland of his holiness Dalai Lama who is currently residing at Dharmasala in India. The world renowned peaks such as Everest, Cho Oyu, and Shisapangma are also situated in this beautiful land. You can also see old Stupas there.

There are many Himalayan peaks above the height of 6000m. Among them, the most popular mountains are Everest 8848, Cho Oyu 8201m, Shishapangma 8035, Lakhapa Ri and Gurlamandata. All foreigners are allowed to climb in these mountains.
